The LA-1 test was performed to demonstrate aerosol behavior during simulated containment bypass accident conditions (V-sequence) in a PWR. CSTF used to simulate an auxiliary or safeguards building in which rupture of the interface piping was postulated to occur. The test auxiliary building was vented to the atmosphere through a scrubber.
